Naarm/Melbourne post punks release awesome collage meets stop motion video ahead of vinyl reissue of acclaimed debut EP

Half a decade on from its release, Naarm/Melbourne-based garage rocking post-punks PINCH POINTS are set to reissue their breakthrough debut EP MECHANICAL INJURY, featuring an awesome nostalgic new stop motion video for WOOMERA, premiering on Pilerats today!

A truly special debut release, MECHANICAL INJURY was self-recorded at the band's house in Coburg in just three hours, mere months after forming and going on to receive widespread praise and acclaim, including making Bandcamp's top 100 releases list for the year. Five years on, the band are ready to re-release it on vinyl for the first time, with a limited pressing of 150 copies available from June 7, with both the digital and vinyl versions featuring bonus track PAVE ME.

Alongside the reissue comes a dope new music video for WOOMERA, that won Best Musical Interpretation during the 2022 Fantastic Film Festival. A wild and wacky combination of collage meets stop motion in stylised black and white, the video features way too many references and random objects to catch on just one watch, meaning repeat views are essential for this one.

With all this going on, PINCH POINTS are gearing up for an East Coast & Adelaide tour during June before jetting off to Europe and the UK (see below for all dates), and give WOOMERA a watch and listen!

PINCH POINTS reissue of their MECHANICAL INJURY LP is out June 7
