Flying the flag for West Aussie pop-punk for the last half a decade or so have been One True North, sounding a bit like what might happen if Kiss Chacey and blink-182 jumped into the studio together. Releasing their Stuck on Rewind EP back in 2020 and a couple of singles in 2022, One True North are back and catchier than ever with new single All Again, out March 27 but premiering on Pilerats today!

Opening with an atmospheric, arpeggiated guitar lead, a driving rhythm section soon enters the mix alongside vocalist Paul Ramondo’s soaring vocals, with fuzzed out guitar hooks rounding things out as the composition builds to its addictive chorus.

Speaking on their new single, the band explain “Originating from acoustic guitar and the poignant hook ‘let's do it All Again and end tonight with no regrets’, this song delves into the turmoil of unspoken love and the departure of a significant other. It's a nostalgic, introspective journey, echoing the regrets of unvoiced affections and the fear of rejection.”

All Again marks the start of One True North’s next musical chapter, with the band set to release a new song every seven weeks this year. No strangers to the live stage, One True North played at the WA Day 2022 festival, sharing the stage with the likes of local legends Jebediah, Eskimo Joe & Birds of Tokyo.
