Premiere: Das Druid - Motion Control

Get a first watch of Brisbane-based trio’s playful new video for their new cut of psychedelic indie dance

Ahead of releasing Das Album later this year, Das Druid give us a first taste with the endearingly uplifting Motion Control. Combining 90s indie-dance with modern psych rock, all with a cheeky attitude.

According to the band, "Das Druid (named after an AOE c-tier character) are hot, brash, and on more English radio's than queen Elizabeth herself, with an attitude that says "who cares".

Before we filmed motion control, we were inspired by the original Greek word for "music", meaning "misshapen ball of clay", which we tried to think about every time we got in front of the camera.

The final piece you see is hot-out-of-the-kiln and ready to be mantled. Lots of love to Brodie, Sarah, Conor and Dylan for all of their help”.

Out this Friday, April 8 alongside a fun and vibe filled video, check it all out ahead of release below.
