BIGSOUND 2023 Announces First Round of Speakers

Including Roc Nation, Netflix, Paramount and more - applications for Australia's flagship music conference & festival are open until May 2

The southern hemisphere's largest music industry gathering BIGSOUND is back, with the 2023 edition scheduled for 5 -8 September in Brisbane, where the festival and conference will take over Fortitude Valley for four days of festivities, and today they've announced their stacked first round of speakers.

Sharing their knowledge this year is a diverse lineup of music industry pros, including:

- Omar Grant (former Destiny's Child road manager, co-president of Jay-Z's ROC Nation label, A&R for Rhianna's ANTI album)

- Michele Ronzon (A&R Coordinator for Interscope / Geffen / A&M Records)

- Hazel Savage (Musiio, VP of Music Intelligence at Soundcloud)

- Ash Tahl (CEO of TikTok agency Flighthouse)

- Scott Cohen (co-founder of The Orchard, JKBX)

- Andy Kalyvas (Netflix Soundtracks, Strategy & Operations Manager)

- Vanessa Palmer (Paramount Television Studios Vice President)

- Cabrea Casey (Downtown Music Director of Sync & A&R).

We approached this year’s BIGSOUND with a singular vision : deals mean meals,” said BIGSOUND programmer Tom Larkin. “Every person we are bringing to Australia can further an artist’s career immeasurably."
