Visa Waveshades - cash strapped to the side of your head

Money Sunnies - what a time to be alive.

The Visa WaveShades sunglasses were a real treat to play with during the Fremantle leg of the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, combining some spicy looking sun protection with chance to freak out bar staff by paying with our faces - as if festival staff don’t go through enough already.

This little creation from Local Supply, Inamo and Laneway Festival combining their heads with Visa resulted in a pretty cool product that made it quicker to get those drinks/merch, and easier to survive that Laneway afternoon sun. Additionally, besides giving our pockets a rest for the day, the WaveShades also reminded us of the most important festival mantra; don’t lose your #$%^ing sunnies.

Like Visa we also firmly believe the future is in wearable technologies, and this is just a step towards that future. Now we just need a watch that holds our I.D. and we’re set.
