Music videos are artistic extensions of the songs themselves, with many visual accompaniments becoming just as, if not more iconic than the song it was created for. As usual, some of our favourite songs of the week also had some of our favourite videos, with this week's list including Armand Hammer, Behind You, EARTHGANG, Helena Deland, Jorja Smith, Mannequin Pussy, Old Mervs, Oneohtrix Point Never, Teenage Halloween and Ty Segall!

Armand Hammer - Woke Up and Asked Siri How I'm Gonna Die

billy woods & Elucid AKA Armand Hammer team up with JPEGMAFIA on production for the latest single from their forthcoming album alongside an appropriately grimey & gritty video. Armand Hammer's new album We Buy Diabetic Test Strips is out September 29 via Fat Possum.

Behind You - The Well ft. Rako, Teether & BAYANG (tha Bushranger)

Cult Eora/Sydney trio team up with some of the who's who of Australia's underground/experimental hip hop scene for a song + video combo of pure AV chaos in the best possible way.

EARTHGANG - DIE TODAY

Denzel Curry takes on funeral conductor duties in the scenic video for EARTHGANG's new single, shot on a gorgeous mountainside. EARTHGANG tour Australia in December supporting Genesis Owusu's STRUGGLER album tour.

Helena Deland - Bright Green Vibrant Gray

Montreal-based art-pop/indie-folk singer-songwriter delivers a beautifully delicate new single with an equally beautiful video that sees Helena painting landscapes in a stunning snowy yet sunny field. Helena Deland's new album Goodnight Summerland is out October 13 via Chivi Chivi.

Jorja Smith - Falling or flying

Less than a month out from Jorja Smith's highly anticipated sophomore album five years in the making, Smith releases the title track with a video that interprets the song's title in playful manner. Jorja Smith's new album Falling or Flying is out September 29 via her own FAMM label.

Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven

Combining irreverent punk rock with melodic indie pop in an irresistible package are Philadelphia's Mannequin Pussy on new single I Got Heaven alongside a borderline NSFW video that sees the four piece jamming out / exploring a pastoral farm yard.

Old Mervs - Hey

West Aussie indie rock duo continue their ascent with melodic & emotional new single alongside a nostalgic video that sees the pair exploring the W.A. countryside they grew up in. Old Mervs' new EP Give It Up is out November 10.

Oneohtrix Point Never - A Barely Lit Path

Influential & in-demand producer Daniel Lopatin returns as OPN with a sweeping, string-and-synth-fuelled majestic new single, while the video sees him collaborating with experimental artist Freeka Tet, resulting in a clip that sees a pair of crash test dummies going for a drive, while making subtle commentaires on A.I. and modern social norms. OPN's new album Again is out September 29 via Warp.

Teenage Halloween - Getting Bitter

New Jersey-based power-pop-punk quartet deliver a soaring new anthem tackling addiction with a super fun MS-paint style animated video. Teenage Halloween's new album Till You Return is out October 20 via Don Giovanni.

Ty Segall - Void

Veteran garage-rock multi-instrumentalist delivers a nearly 7 minute cut of experimental prog-meets-classic rock cut and a distorted, psychedelic, exploratory video.

Enjoy all these tunes as well as our favourite singles of the week and a stack of other new music we've been feeling in our Office playlist - 150 of the best tunes from the last few weeks.
