Glenn Arthur

Glenn Arthur

Introducing artist and illustrator Glenn Arthur.

The work of California-based artist Glenn Arthur is anything but bland; faultlessly coloured, effortlessly interesting, and unimaginably beautiful, with a style that can only be vaguely described as a blend of traditional art nouveau, tattoo art, and a whole lot of pop surrealism. His crisp, clean linework paired with vibrant rendering is somewhat reminiscent of the likes of artists Marta Nael and Angelique Houtkamp, yet bold and imaginative themes keep it new and original as ever. Arthur's works are largely painted in acrylics and often incorporate fantastical concepts, macabre undertones, and homages to literary classics and fairy-tales. With an impressive career involving solo and group exhibitions, Glenn Arthur is the creator of some of the most wonderful art gracing the walls of galleries, museums and homes in the States and overseas.
