Meet the first of our featured artists from this week's Fremantle Rail Bridge Mural Project.

The Underline Project begins this week, and we thought we'd take the time to introduce the artists involved. Ayres is an aerosol artist who's been on the scene for almost 25 years, having been interested in graffiti art from a young age. Now based in Perth, his dedicated work pushes visual boundaries, mixing old-school lettering styles with newer techniques of painting. Continuing in this theme, he also collaborates frequently with other writers and street artists to encourage a constant exchange of styles, techniques and approaches, aiming to develop fresh ideas that compliment traditional graffiti art. Here's a little sample of past work.
