Rubberbandits' Modern Economy Gameshow would be funny if it wasn't so depressing

Okay it's still pretty funny.

The Rubberbandits are an Irish comedy duo that I literally just found out about this morning when someone tagged me in the video below and I found it really fucking hilarious. Wikipedia tells me: "They were formed by Blindboy Boatclub and Mr Chrome. On stage and in interviews, they conceal their identities with masks made from plastic shopping bags." They also refer to their "movement" as something called "gas cuntism". I'm not sure I really want to figure out what that is.

Anyway they've got a new TV Show on Irish public broadcaster RTE, and I assume this is a skit from it, which is hilarious. Highlights include cocaine gorilla (pictured) and tits lizard, a general beating down of people trying to make their way in our troubled economic times, and an attempt to immigrate to Australia, and "the entrepeneur's" sneaky brown envelope government pay offs.

While it's obviously set in and discussing Ireland's economy, I think we can all agree the troubles faced over there are pretty universal:
