The Brisbane live-music scene has had its up and downs over the last few years – much like that of any major capital city arguably – but the month-long Brisbane Festival has always been an up-side. After rolling out some big line-ups in previous years, the festival is back in 2018 with its biggest yet, drawing in some big names from Brisbane, interstate and overseas for a solid month's worth of shows this September.

Kicking off with the opening party on September 8th (headlined by Ball Park Music and San Cisco), the festival which host a huge range of acts until it closes on September 29th with a rather large closing show at the iconic Riverstage – Violent Soho, Meg Mac, Methyl Ethel and WAAX making up the biggest names of the night. The Tivoli will host Unknown Mortal Orchestra on their Australian return, Touch Sensitive and CC: DISCO! will b2b it out at a must-attend for any dance music head, and Tkay Maidza, Polish Club, Jen Cloher and even Eskimo Joe will be doing the odd show here and there.

Check out the full list of shows below, and check out Brisbane Festival's WEBSITE for tickets and more info.
