Watch: Young Thug - Best Friend

Thugga serves up his own head to us on a platter.

Slime Season -  Young Thug and London On Da Track's forthcoming mixtape - was supposed to drop on July 4, but we've seen neither hair nor hide of it aside from a snippet of a track called Best Friend, that did the rounds on Twitter and Vine when a video appeared of Thug rapping the track while one of his homies waves a gun (!) beside him. Today the Interworld gets a full version of the track, and a video. The release of which would suggest Slime Season may soon be upon us.

Thugga's up to his usual bizarro antics in this video, living up to The New York Times' praise of him as "one of hip-hop's most challenging and thrilling artists", an artist "working dozens of canvases at once...[whose] new eccentric is setting the standard of tomorrow’s normal." In the clip we see Thug's squad dancing in a forest, multiple versions of Thug rapping and macking out with each other in the bathroom (and adding fuel to the firey rumours about Thug's sexuality), and Thug's head on a platter on the dinner table.

The filmmaker for the vid is Be El B, who also filmed Thugga's Check video. Watch it below, and hear a new Tinashe song featuring Thug.
