Welcome To The Fam: Leon Osborn

Welcome To The Fam: Leon Osborn

Meet Fremantle-based producer Leon Osborn, and his new single, You Were Gone feat. Barksdale.

"It’s possible that Osborn could march in the same footsteps of fellow West Australian Ta-ku and develop a mighty aura with each offering. If he builds it, they will come." - InTheMix

We've been teasing it for a little while now, and today's the day we finally get to announce the newest member of Pilerats' ever-growing family - Leon Osborn. One of the west coast's best kept secrets is ready to take to the big stage following artists features with the likes of FBi Radio and triple j, and appearing on the frontpage of Bandcamp. Osborn may even well be your favourite producers' favourite producer, and you'll understand why when you take in his new single (and his first for Pilerats Records) - You Were Gone feat. Barksdale, backed by the glistening multilayered composition, The Map & The Territory.

Having toured nation-wide last year with Giraffage and based on the strength of his Soundcloud uploads alone, Leon Osborn is a nod in the right direction for Australian electronic music, and we can't wait for you to peel back the countless layers of this talented artist:
