Watch: JOY. - Weather

After seducing 2014 with a myriad of woozy tracks and a Like A Version to boot JOY. has roared into 2015 with a video clip for Weather. The video slides into the final moments of broken house with the family’s belongings being repossessed and their members being torn up. It isn’t a particularly spectacular video, but the low-key moodiness is the point, and the ending has an overwhelmingly somber mood as McCarthy’s echoing vocals, "Took yourself away" frame the family being physically ripped apart. And we are suckers for one long tracking shot videoclips, something executed to perfection here.
