Watch: Ella Thompson - I Go Over

This is straight up synth-pop and it’s bloody good. I Go Over is the second single from Ella Thompson, vocalist extraordinaire of GL who recently kicked arse as they toured Australia with the bearded champion Chet Faker. But back to Ella Thompson, for those familiar with GL I Go Over throws away the 80s fantasia that's gripping east coast Australian bands at the moment and picks up a saccharine chorus with some punchy synths. And for what is a very minimalistic shoot Thompson nails the reflective but euphoric mood of the song. It’s pop and pop done very well.
