Track By Track: World Champion - Avocado Galaxy EP

World Champion, the Sydney duo made up of William Campion and Julian Sudek, have today released their debut EP on Future Classic - Avocado Galaxy, and to celebrate we asked them for a look at how the four-tracker came together. Stream it below and check out some words down below:

1. Avocado Galaxy

Inspired by a nightmare that one of us had, we decided to write it down as a bit of fun. It was meant to capture the feeling of falling deeper into a crazy dream and knowing that it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.

2. Tip Pit

Tip Pit was one of the first songs we ever wrote together. It’s about sitting face to face with someone you used to admire and then looking a little closer and realising that all they have is smoke and mirrors.

3. Shakes

When you’re dancing and someone catches your eye… Shakes is all about infatuation.

4. Avocado Moon

Picks up where Avocado Galaxy left off. We wanted to take listeners to the moon and back.
