Premiere: Melbourne's Kings. throw some love west on new single, (u) West Coast

Some bright indie-electronica to get this week off to the right start.

Melbourne-based four-piece Kings. are bringing a shimmering blend of live and electronic instrumentation on bright new single (u) West Coast, one that we're very stoked to be premiering for you today. While we march head first into another cold Aussie winter, Kings. are having none of it with the summery new tune, one that serves as an ode to West Australia. Speaking on the inspiration behind the tune, vocalist Hayden Jeffrey says: "(u) West Coast draws on the feeling of nostalgia, it's one of my favourite emotions to feel; it sparks a very colourful and creative energy. The letter (u) in the title refers to a place where I once was and once experienced, it holds plenty of memories, stories and sentimental feelings."

With their previous single Whispers racking up streams in the hundreds of thousands, we expect no different for this fresh new track, filled with lush electronic soundscapes, soothing, warm vocals and a tonne of groove.
