Premiere: Jesse Porsches' new clip will make you pray for summer's return

The Sydney producer continues his dream year with a video for his new single The Weekend, plus a whole heap of club shows.

Sydney's Jesse Porsches is having a big 2017, to say the least. Earlier this year he linked up with Tigerilla to launch SUPER CRUEL, a new electronic super-duo who have signed a couple of massive deals and nailed a set at Splendour off the back of just one mega collaboration with Lisa Mitchell. Then came the launch of Jesse Porsches, his solo venture building off the name of his early, Sweat It Out signed project Porsches. Featuring vocals from Australian singer-songwriter Xavier Dunn, The Weekend is the summery first taste of Jesse Porsches and now, it's been joined by an official video clip.

Shot in Queensland's Burleigh Heads by the team at Jaen Collective (who have knocked out vids for Splendour In The Grass, Nicole Millar and a whole heap of other clients), Jesse's clip for The Weekend will have you fiending summer's return, matching the single's sun-soaked sound with an equally bright video. “We worked quite closely with the film crew across casting and locations to explore the themes visually" says Jesse on the video's release. "The video clip looks at a guy and girl who meet over a summer period, seemingly fall in love and then both move on with their lives.” Check out the clip below, and be sure to check out Jesse Porsches as he tours the country off the back of the single, including a very huge looking show at Thredbo with KLP, Elizabeth Rose and more this weekend.
