Premiere: Benson links up with Yeo for euphoric new house banger, Trying

The Melbourne pair are a match made in heaven.

Australian house music maestro and co-head honcho of Medium Rare Recordings, Benson, is back to follow up his ARIA Club Chart-topping single Step To Me with Trying, an out-and-out anthem featuring the vocals of fellow Melbournite and regular Pile-pal, Yeo. Like a lot of great dance music, Trying manages to find that perfect balance between two opposite ends of the spectrum, melancholy and euphoria, for a sparkling single that'll have your hands in the air in no time.

Benson's penchant for the bassier side of house takes a bit of a backseat for something a little more melody-focused, and combined with Yeo's unique and painfully smooth vocals, makes for a pretty special little number that has festival favourite written all over it. Basically, this thing is drenched in feel-good summer vibes, and even though just officially ended, we all know that global warming means there's plenty more sun-soaked afternoons coming that you'll be able to crank this bad boy:
