Paces drops new single, announces debut album Vacation

1993 (No Chill) is the first single from the producer's debut album, set to drop on March 4th.

There's no denying that Paces had a big 2015. From the addictively tropical Nothing's Forever, to the Reija Lee-featuring, feel-good single Hold It Down and it's B-side Bamboo, or remix after remix after remix, the sultan of $wågwåvé has impressed us time and time again, with his mountain of 2015 material satisfying us throughout the year. By the looks of things, it seems 2016 is definitely gonna be the same, if not bigger, with the Gold Coast producer announcing the release of Vacation, his debut album due out March 4. Accompany the album announcement is 1993 (No Chill), a new single from the producer that enlists the help of the UK-born, Adelaide-raised vocalist Jess Kent, who has recently shot into fame thanks to the release of her single Get Down.

1993 is a single that just oozes fun and excitement, with Kent's dreamy and care-free electro-pop vocals sailing high over a tropical-infused beat bubbling with percussion, synth and hand claps. A full-length album is a feat not easy done by Australian producers, with acts such as RÜFÜS and Flight Facilities being the only ones to really nail it in recent times, but considering Paces' track record and the strength of 1993 (No Chill), I think he'll do just fine. He'll be celebrating its release with his Paces' Ship To Shore Album Launch Parties, check all dates below the stream, which will feature super sexy boat parties, followed by after parties at different locations.
