Loston returns with triumphant new single, Disappear, debut EP on the way

His six track EP Echoes will arrive in April.

After bursting onto the scene a few years back with some big reworks of the likes of James Blake, Ta-ku and Sampha, we haven't heard much from Perth-based producer Loston. Luckily for us, that's all about to end, with a new single dropping today in Disappear, taken from an upcoming six-track EP, Echoes, coming in April. While he may have been absent in the public sense, Loston has been slaving meticulously away on Echoes, and having had a little sneak preview listen to the whole release ourselves, we can comfortably say that you. are. not. ready. We won't go into it too much though, and keep the focus on first cut Disappear, a telling first cut that hints at the exciting next phase of Loston's career.

Grandiose and cinematic with an ear towards the cosmic, it packs a heap of emotion into its running time: “I feel like there is room in modern music for creative expression, rather than trying to work within the constraints of what works for ‘Playlists’, or how it is going to play out at festivals." We can't wait for you to hear what comes next, but for now, be absorbed into Disappear below, and keep your ears peeled for new singles in the lead-up to the April EP release.
