The Sydney gutter-tech frontrunners return to their roots.

Last year saw Sydney duo Go Freek blow up on a whole other scale, mainly aided by their absolutely monstrous Dom Dolla collaborationDefine (a single that took out the #2 spot in the ARIA most played club tracks chart). It was then followed up by the Empire Of The Sun-sampling Empire, which saw the Go Freek boys return to their signature gutter-tech sounds for a release that accompanied their partnership with management dons Maker Agency. After kicking off 2016 with the launch of their Compound Tapes mixtape series, the boys have dropped Interconnected, their first original for the year. While Define saw Go Freek go for a more easily accessible house vibe, Interconnected is a far more traditional Go Freek single, with a looping earworm of a hook that builds into a heaving, bass-soaked, gutter-tech drop. The track is the first single from their upcoming Interconnected EP, which will see the boys head back to their well-loved, unique sound ahead of some big-ass dates in the US. Listen below.
