Listen to Moonbase Commander's dark new banger, Greyhound

A dark and heavy new one from one of Splendour 2016's best performers.

Launching this year with the four-track Southpaw EP, Sydney producer Moonbase Commander is on a mission to make Australia's electronic scene as heavy and grimey as it can get. Dominating Splendour this weekend just gone with a packed-to-the-rafters performance at the Mix Up Tent, Sydney's dark horse has treated us to Greyhound, a quick-firing new single that is being marked as the first taste of his forthcoming Orthodox EP, due later in the year. Greyhound is Moonbase Commander at his best, blending together rapid, hip-hop vocal cuts with a stabbing bass line, which thumps underneath quick percussion work. Much like his Southpaw EP, Greyhound is dark and heavy return from Moonbase Commander, with a thundering presence that rumbles throughout the song's production. Take a listen to the track below, and grab it on iTunes HERE.
