Listen to Kaytranada's remix of The Internet's latest, Roll (Burbank Funk)

Spoiler Alert: It's bloody good.

A few weeks ago R&B ensemble The Internet returned with Roll (Burbank Funk), a ridiculously smooth new single that marked their first major release since Ego Death a while back. It was great, bringing together everything we've come to love from The Internet in one tidy little funk-fuelled piece, plus a whole bunch more like ushering Steve Lacy's vocals further into the spotlight - something he's been doing for a while now but not really with The Internet. If you were hoping for something a little more bouncy and upbeat, Kaytranada has got your back, with the former The Internet collaborator jumping on remix duties to transform Roll into a dancefloor-ready stomper. It kicks straight into gear with an energetic house bassline almost reminiscent of Daft Punk, with the original's vocal line and smooth R&B vibe layered over the top to create this upbeat, yet soulful track which instantly becomes another Kaytranada instant-classic (much like Girl, the track he produced with The Internet for Ego Death).
