Listen to Client Liaison bring the 80s back with World Of Our Love

New year. New single. New album. New tour.

I'm gonna be honest here and say that's taken me a while to really understand what Client Liaison are all about. I listened to their music and saw them live once or twice, but I passed them off as an 80s throwback gimmick act and called it a day. Hence, why I was a little reluctant to listen to World Of Our Love, their new single. However, I feel with World Of Our Love and it's accompanying announcements (new single, debut album, new tour), they're really trying to prove that they're not a gimmick act. They're legit. Yes, their sound is very reminiscent of that 80s electro-pop movement, but it's their sound, and it's hear to stay. World Of Our Love summaries the past year for Client Liaison perfectly, taking the good bits from their previous singles and squeezing it into one single. Whether it's the general 80s vibe, or that hypnotic sax solo towards the end, World Of Our Love is Client Liaison's smoothest, most Client Liaison-ish piece to date. Appropriately, it's also being used to launch their debut album and their forthcoming tour with GL, which will be heading to capital cities and regional centers in May and June. Dates below.
