Listen: Speed Painters - Australian Boy (Harvey Sutherland Remix)

As we all know the Victorian state is brimming with electronic talent, none moreso than Mr. Harvey Sutherland. Over the weekend, I watched him absolutley shred the Courtyard stage at Sydney's OutsideIn. It was almost as though he was in a trance, eyes shut, fingers racing over his Roland synth keys, totally wrapped up in the performance. If you haven't yet heard a splice of Harvey's music look no further than his Brothers EP, which encapsulates the groovy synth sounds this dude is all about (LISTEN HERE). 

It seems with every release, Harvey's able to spark a unique and super appealing slinky atmosphere, as though you're sitting in a smoke shrouded and dimly lit bar copping sweet keyboard tunes. Bubbly and Pleasant - these two words best describe how I feel when listening to this Melbournian's productions. Just yesterday, we were gifted his remix preview of the Speed Painters tune Australian Boy and I'm pleased to say it's more of the same from Sutherland - awesome evolving arpeggiator rhythms.
