Aussie Industrial Pop Techno artist drops a banging new anthem, signs to Dinosaur City Records

Grace Stevenson has been crafting a unique, signature style of pop-inflected industrial techno and EBM inspired sounds for a while now, making a name for herself as REBEL YELL across a string of releases and live shows.

As we enter the twilight of 2022, we’re gifted with some new REBEL YELL goodness, in the form of the dark and driving Protect, that sees overblown drums meet a wiggly acid bassline and Stevenson’s stark, commanding vocals bring it all together.

On Protect, Stevenson explains “A continuation of Night Drive, Protect was initially written in regards to women and our battles with safety and to have a voice. When I lived in Iceland in 2021, the song took on a new form; it felt adaptive to the environment and our climate; how young people face the consequences of those who walked before us, yet cop the blame for so much.

Protect also comes alongside the news that REBEL YELL has signed with the always on point Dinosaur City Records, where she joins a roster including the likes of Workhorse, Solo Career, Punko and e444e.
