Listen: KUČKA -Divinity (Milwaukee Banks Remix)

After being introduced to the soft and intimate Divinity back in November last year, local hip hop duo Milwaukee Banks have put together a slick, laid back hip hop remix mirroring the work on their 2014 EP, Rose Water. Leaving the vocal work of KUČKA to shimmer in the chorus, Milwaukee Banks have taken control of the verses of the tune, adding a darker, more layered beat and rhyming over the top. While rapping over songs can be really hit or miss, this remix of Divinity seems to do justice to the original, whilst still giving it a fresh new touch.
