Boorloo / Perth music scene stalwart steps out in solo mode with a psychedelic sci-fi single

Kicking around with a number of bands over the years, including the likes of The Disappointed, The Autumn Isles, The Jackson Roses and Mezzanine, WA's Andy James Bartlett today unveils his new solo production alias, James Colton, with the engrossing and brilliantly titled Elevator Ride to 808.

A veteran keyboardist and guitarist, Colton immersed himself in the studio with a wide range of synths, drum machines and all manner of other audio toys, combining influences as far ranging as Air to Pink Floyd in his unique blend of jazzy downtempo abstract beats. 

A loving amalgam of acoustic and digital sounds, give Elevator Ride to 808 a listen now!
