In a cross-continental meeting of electronic minds, New Delhi-based producer and DJ Stain finds himself in another dope collaboration this year, this time teaming up with Melbourne-via-Berlin man of the moment, DJ Plead for the heavyweight meditative cut of bass weight that is Rent Request.
With an emphasis on percussion and atmosphere, Rent Request sees all manner of rattling percs alongside heavy hitting drums, deep, wobbly subs and appropriately reverbed and delayed vocals, resulting in a subterranean aural journey through the depths of meditative dance music.
The track comes after a big year for both Stain & DJ Plead, with Stain recently teaming up with UK Garage and all around bass music legend Zed Bias, while DJ Plead dropped his acclaimed Quick E.P. on influential label Livity Sound.
