Listen: Basenji - Petals

Basenji shows a softer side on his first single of 2015.

Sydney producer Basenji has finally blessed us with his first new music in 2015, and blessing definitely feels appropriately for the blissful, dreamy new single Petals, featuring the vocals of WA outfit Scenic. A much gentler affair compared to his previous couple of singles Dawn and Heirloom, this one's not meant to tear up the club, but tear up your heartstrings. Call me crazy, but I'm feeling a little bit of French outfit Air on this single, although that could be the vocals, as one of my faovourite tunes of their's is a cover of Kelly Watch The Stars.

Petals is the first taste of an August-due EP, and he joins Hermitude on their upcoming Australian tour this month.
