Get lost in the disco groove on GL's new single Reflect

The second single from their Destiny/Reflect two-side is out, and it's an absolute pearler.

After teasing us with the nostalgic Destiny at the start of this month, Melbourne electronic outfit GL have returned with another stellar single, this time taking on a more disco groove with Reflect. Combining with Destiny to form a new, two-sided release, Reflect is a quirkier, more upbeat jam than the previous single, really harnessing their addictive, retro sound for the track. Reflect blends the worlds of disco, funk, soul and 80s pop, with the dynamic vocals of front-woman Ella Thompson soaring above a crafty production which layers energetic percussion, electrifying synth melodies, and even a ripping keyboard solo by Harvey Sutherland which really picks up and shines towards the single's climactic ending. Check out the single below, as well as the details for a pair of headline shows next month with special guests including Fortunes. and Andy Garvey.
