Coming in hot with a new music video and love-story themed single with a football twist are UK born, Perth-based The Deenys and their new one Last Minute Winner, with the music video premiering on Pilerats today!

Taking cues from the masters of early 2000s indie rock, Last Minute Winner is an addictive slice of anthemic indie rock, packed with fuzzed out guitars and soaring vocals that build to a euphoric chorus, telling the age old tale of a shy boy falling for the popular girl.

The band expand on the single explaining "The style of the song is very early 2000’s indie with the loud guitars and punching drum beat with our vocalist Drewe McAllister’s melody displaying a story telling sound which gives the audience a chance to expand their imagination and picture what the young shy male is experiencing.”

Meanwhile, the video sees the lads performing the track while donning football strips, with the video interspersed with some archival footage of last minute winners from the English Premier League and more.
