These New South Whales are getting their own show on Comedy Central

Who knew black tape over one's nipples could get one so far.

Australia's favourite punk-rock scallywags These New South Whales will be releasing the second season of their on-going punkumentary this May, to be aired in an exclusive partnership with Comedy Central Australia & New Zealand. It kicks off May 9, and if the just-released trailer is anything to go by, it's gonna a rollercoaster ride of emotions, cameos, schooners with old blokes at the pub and good old fashioned rock-and-fucking-roll.

The shows creators, Todd Andrews (creator, writer, producer), Jamie Timony (creator, writer, producer, director), and Ben Timony (creator, writer, producer, director, editor), are understandably pretty chuffed: "We are over the moon, back to earth and then back over the moon again to be partnering with Comedy Central. If you want the best meat you go to the best butcher, know what I mean? We couldn’t think of a better home for our baby boo-boo."

The trailer looks bloody great, and we can't wait to see what Australia's dirty pub-punk version of Spinal Tap get up to in their neverending quest to reach the top of Australian music.
