Premiere: Sweet Temper - Two Face

Naarm/Melbourne neo-soul five-piece deliver their impressive debut single

Comprised of five former Australian Institute of Music students is Naarm/Melbourne’s Sweet Temper, coming in hot with their debut single of poppy neo-soul with Two Face out July 14 but premiering on Pilerats today.

Taking cues from hometown heroes Hiatus Kaiyote, Two Face fuses indie pop and r&b vibes with groove-laden neo-soul with storytelling lyrics courtesy of frontwoman Abbey Green that explore the titular two faced character.

Speaking on their new single, the band explain "'Two Face' specifically focuses on calling out toxic behaviour in relationships. It puts manipulators and abusers in the spotlight, centring on situations where they may act charming and lovingly in one setting but behave harmfully in others. The overall message is developing the strength to directly expose abusers and walk away from such situations."
