Hot on the heels of her February single Make Believe, Boorloo/Perth’s Skyuka returns in fine & fun fashion with her infectious new single Michael Cera, out May 3 but premiering on Pilerats today!
An upbeat and uplifting cut of poppy indie rock, Michael Cera sees fuzzed out guitars meet a driving rhythm section, while Skyuka’s vocals soar above as she reflects on the perils of falling for someone with a smile like Michael Cera. The single will also feature an amusing & humorous music video after it drops so keep your eyes peeled for that.
To celebrate the release of Michael Cera, Skyuka will be launching the single at Mojos on Thursday, May 11, with support from Clauds, Scarlet Drive and Safer Than Milk. Before that, give Michael Cera a spin as it premieres on Pilerats a day ahead of release.
