Premiere: Georgia Fields - In My Blood

Premiere: Georgia Fields - In My Blood

Indulge in an early listen to the captivating new track lifted from the Naarm based art-pop artists forthcoming LP Hiraeth.

A few months ago Naarm/ Melbourne-based artist Georgia Fields gave us the first taste of her forthcoming album with the vulnerable alt-pop track Holding My Hands Out, which you can read more about here. With the full LP Hiraeth out next month accompanied by a nationwide tour, the singer-songwriter gives us another stunning track In My Blood, premiering right here today before its official release this Wednesday (Oct 19).

A beautiful sensory experience, In My Blood swirls synths, beats, and the odd acoustic guitar strum into its instrumental fabric, complex yet not distracting from the deeply emotive and commanding voice of Georgia Fields. Produced by drummer/multi-instrumentalist Josh Barber (Gretta Ray; Gotye), it’s a thoughtfully composed track, steadily growing to its bridge before stripping back a chant-like Nature! Nurture! Pleasure searcher!” which grows in each repetition with the addition of another harmony, eventually crashing into a climactic ending.

With the full record out November 17th, accompanied by a stack of live shows (see below), be sure to get across Georgia Fields with this captivating new release In My Blood premiering below.
