Premiere: Friendlyjordies goes crazy in Hedge Fund's clip for Boyfriend

Life can get you down sometimes.

Sydney-based indie-rockers Hedge Fund have just unveiled the video clip for their latest single Boyfriend, an odd and frenetic affair that features internet boy-wonder and social commentary master of the young folks Friendlyjordies being...very weird. Usually spending a few minutes explaining to the disenchanted youth of Australia why our government sucks, or how good goon isBoyfriend features no speaking, just the man himself rolling around in the grass and dirt, stressing out about life as a boyfriend. Keeping in line with the themes of the track itself, which vocalist Will Colvin describes as: “Essentially it's about everyone wanting you to be what they want you to be, having to grow up and be responsible, be everyone's boyfriend. The whole concept revolves around that one line, 'I wanna be a boy but now I've gotta be man.'"
