Premiere: Benjamin Witt teases his debut album with another track from it, TV Dinner

The LP, Future Rest, is out mid-June.

Following on from the release of his debut single, Dead Fish, ex-The Chemist frontman Benjamin Witt continues his march into solo artist-dom with TV Dinner, an off-kilter slice of weird-pop that comes with the perfect video clip:

"This track is built on a few dissonant clusters of notes against a groove informed by the mechanics of afro-beat, and is about human potential. The TV dinner is a symbol of laziness and incuriosity..." says Ben, "The clip was filmed by my good pal Mal Clark on VHS, edited by myself because I'm cheap, before Shiny Joe Ryan ran it through some analog feedback thingy to distort particular frames."

TV Dinner is the second single from his forthcoming album, Future Reset, which is out June 17. He'll be launching it that very day with a show at Jimmy's Den in Northbridge. Until then enjoy the descent into madness that is the sights and sounds for TV Dinner, below:
