We’ve been hanging out for new sounds from longtime local fave Noah Dillon for a while now, having dropped his awesome & acclaimed debut album Kill The Dove back in 2022. Today that wait is over, with Dillon unleashing Let It Out, a driving cut of indie rock featuring a fun talent show inspired music video, ahead of a huge Australian and European run of shows from April to June.
Featuring an earworm of a lead synth, Let It Out sees Dillon’s rapid-fire vocals delivering an ode to self care and looking after one’s mental health above a commanding bassline, tight drums and hypnotic vocal harmonies. Speaking on his new single, Dillon explains, “‘Let It Out’, is a positive song about caring for yourself and your own mental health. Getting rid of the pain that others try to give to you.”
Meanwhile, the video directed by in-demand video artist of the moment Stephanie Senior sees Noah take to a nostalgic school hall, facing a panel of judges as he performs and, well, lets it all out. Let It Out marks the start of a new chapter for Dillon, being the first single from an as yet unnamed forthcoming EP, with a huge run of shows coming up - see below for all dates and stay tuned for more new music from Noah Dillon!
