MID CITY get their groove on with a smooth cat in the video for Dead Broke Blues

They've got their debut live shows coming up next month.

After launching the project just a few weeks back, Melbourne-based four-piece MID CITY have unveiled the feel good new video for their debut single, Dead Broke Blues. The track's indie-dance/new wave feel is now complimented perfectly with some very smooth moves from a classy old codger: "In this climate sometimes it seems like everyone's got it together but you. False perception is your reality. We wanted to cut the crap of having it all worked out, spark a bit of joy and remind people that even if we are all gonna go to hell we might as well all dance like possessed frogs."

Directed by Alex McCloskey, you can check out the clip below and catch the group at their debut live shows at the end of this month and into the next, check the dates down the bottom:

TOUR DATES:

Fri 29 Jun - Otto's House Party @ World Bar, Sydney w/ Archy Punker

Sat 7 Jul - Yah Yah's, Melbourne w/ Neighbourhood Youth
