Live Sessions: Panama - Jungle

Not long ago, Pilerats welcomed Sydney band Panama to Perth to play a live show at our event series, At The Pile, at Jack Rabbit Slim's. While Panama were here in the West, we headed into independent recording studio SUMO Sound, where the boys treated Pile TV and some lucky Pilerats competition winners to a cosy show, as they performed Always - the title track off their sophomore EP. SUMO's vintage-feel, wood-panelled interior - laden with a maze of leads and lamps, stacks of colourful drumkits, and an antique piano - provided the perfect fit for Panama's warm, nostalgia-laced electronic sound.
