FYI: BROCKHAMPTON's Kevin Abstract is teasing something new

Could it be BROCKHAMPTON's first project since last year's iridescence, or the frontman's first solo release in three years?

There's a lot of hype flying around for BROCKHAMPTON at the moment, but with the rap collective - 'hip-hop's best boyband' - going from cult-followed internet favourites to having a number one debut on the US Billboard Charts with their debut major label album iridescence, a streamlined and polished release that capped off the hugely-successful SATURATION series. They toured Australia for the first time through the Listen Out Festival around the same time - destroying Sydney cinemas to film videos and generally whipping up a frenzy in the process - while the time since has been marked by non-stop touring and studio time. The group are known for their wild and rushed release schedules - such as releasing the entire SATURATION trilogy in a period of twelve months - which makes their quietness release-wise hold some promise that we'll be getting something very soon.

Enter right of frame Kevin Abstract, the group's most visible and arguably adored member, who just posted something very promising on his socials this morning. The parental advisory warning down the bottom gives the suggestion that it's potentially the cover art of some new work on the way, whether it be BROCKHAMPTON's first since iridesence, or Abstract returning to his self-titled solo project, which has been reasonably inactive since BROCKHAMPTON really took off internationally.

Whatever it is, we're pretty damn excited to see. Oh, and so is Frank Ocean:
