Listen: Kasbo - World Away

The perfect ending to a massive year from the young, Swedish producer.

To have a release on Odesza's Foreign Family Collective label, you've obviously gotta be pretty damn good, with every single release put out by the label so far being on a whole other label. Following up from Big Wild's brass-infused banger Aftergold, Troy Samuela and Monsoonsiren's collab Fiend, Jai Wolf's break-out hit Indian Summer and more, the next release on the label comes from up-and-comer Kasbo. Already making waves in the US, the 19-year-old producer has shone onice again, captivating hearts with his new single World Away. The genre-bending new single is a pure delight, with a laid-back vocal melody and percussion hits building until a Porter Robinson or Odesza-esque synth drop, an obvious sign that the young Swedish producer is learning from the best, having teamed up with Porter in the past. Set to join Odesza on their upcoming US tour alongside Hayden James, Louis Futon and RÜFÜS, World Away is the perfect ending for a mammoth year from the producer, which hopefully continues into 2016 and beyond.
