Listen: Tame Impala - Let It Happen

Opening with an electronic scattering of guitar riffs and the glistening vocals of Kevin Parker it’s hard not to be drawn into Tame Impala’s new single, Let It Happen. The group's first new song in what feels like forever, Let It Happen reflects a continued interest in The Beatles’ circa Magical Mystery Tour shaped through the EDM tinted lens of 2015. But what strikes you is the sprawling mass that Let It Happen is; with the 808 drum beats, mesmerizing piano keys and the almost Daft-Punkesque vocals at the end. It's a true epic, and it very quickly becomes apparent that Let It Happen isn’t just a quick pop fix but one of those songs that with every play you can uncover new elements.
