Cruise into the weekend with Twin Wave's new single Matador

Twin Wave's new single is a cracker.

Opening with some 70s inspired riffs Twin Wave's Matador sets the scene for a mix of sparkling vocals that ooze the grandeur of acts like Bonnie Tyler when the synths glide in and a more playful indie mood. Indeed, there are two parts to this song; the sharp guitar licks, snappy drum beat and the airy voice of Nick Williams that labels it as a quirky piece of music edged with more a more electronic mood. And this vibe with its overt grandeur popping up in the chorus and the second half of the song is what makes it so enjoyable. Twin Wave are also playing in Brooklyn this Friday with Surf Rock Is Dead, a group we've covered and loved, so if you're in the states then you can catch them all, details below:
