Focus: Hollie Fernando

Focus: Hollie Fernando

This young London photographer will alter your reality.

Hollie Fernando's photographs turn reality into the stuff of fantasy. Somehow, despite knowing that everything within her pictures is tangible, you'll become aware of a lurking sense of magic working its way around her subjects and into your imagination.

At 22 years old, this South London-based freelancer has already worked with several contemporary and independent magazines, as well as companies like Lazy Oaf.

Most recently, she shot an editorial for Zeum Magazine featuring Lazy Oaf's Winter 2014 collection. It heaves a dark water element onto the shore that contrasts Lazy Oaf's bright bold apparel, evoking such wistfulness that you'll want to aid this ocean nymph back into the deep.
