Doing just as its namesake says is Keep It Classy, the smooth, addictive and classy new single from Perth-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alannah Chapman featuring fellow W.A. based vocalist Drea, set for a November 9 release but premiering on Pilerats today!

Featuring boom-bap, hip hop drums, a bold, bouncy bassline and all manner of synths courtesy of producer Calvin Bennett, Keep It Classy sees subtle but effective use of Chapman’s trusty saxophone, with her smokey, alluring sung vocals offset by Drea’s rapidfire, tongue-in-cheek raps.

With Keep It Classy a taste of what’s to come, on working with Bennett Chapman explains “When I was recording the EP with Calvin, I always used to say everything needed to sound classy and messy but in a sexy, fun kind of way — so this song encapsulates that. I don't like to take things too seriously when I write because it's really all about having fun in the process of creating, and thus this song was born.”

Stream Keep It Classy here today before it drops November 9.
