RBMA x Boiler Room Pres. Chronicles 002 with Ta-Ku

RBMA x Boiler Room Pres. Chronicles 002 with Ta-Ku

Ta-Ku is celebrating his EP release by curating his own Boiler Room event.

A musical partnership of epic proportions, Red Bull Music Academy and Boiler Room are returning for another round of the unique Chronicles series in June, with iconic Perth beatmaker, Red Bull Music Academy Alumni (Barcelona 2008) and general legend Ta-ku taking the reigns for his own Boiler Room session, featuring hand-picked artists from both past and present who have inspired the constant evolution of his distinct sound. Who may they be you ask?

They would be Brisbane via NZ artist Jordan Rakei, who recently collaborated with Ta-Ku on Sunrise/Beautiful, from the forthcoming Songs To Make Up To EP, Kit Pop - under their collaborative moniker, HWLS, and Netherlands-raised, Australia-based WAFIA, who has featured on tracks with Japanese Wallpaper and toured with the likes of Sohn and Sylvan Esso, and Vancouver Sleep Clinic. And the whole shebang will be complemented by a visual installation from award-winning Audio Visual Artist, Sam Price AKA NAIK.

As standard for Boiler Room events, it will be held in a secret location and, following the age-old Boiler Room formula, will be a private RSVP guestlist only affair - RSVP HERE. A limited numbers of tickets will be given away via the RBMA FACEBOOK page closer to the event, and of course there will be live-stream on www.boilerroom.tv/chronicles.

So sign up and save the date, it's gonna be a pretty special night:
