Premiere: Bask in the warm summer breeze that is The Florets' new single, Just Coast

Just in time to soundtrack your upcoming, hopefully sunset-drenched, summer.

The days are getting warmer, the sun is rising earlier and setting later, and Melbourne five-piece The Florets have the perfect soundtrack for the incoming season with their latest single, Just Coast. It's a ripping little ditty, washing over you like some kinda warm, salty blanket thanks to the hazy vocal delivery of frontman Nick Dawes, working in tandem with the washed out instrumental arrangements of the rest of the group: "The lyrics for this single will always sit pretty close to my heart. Just Coast sums up my struggle with the necessity for everything to align before pursuing them, making excuses for every dream before acting. This is the first project I have ever sung for and the lyrics to this track are about just going for it, even if it turns out sounding rubbish."

It's a wonderful slice of summer just before it gets here - take a listen below and catch 'em live on Thursday 8 November at The B.East in Melbourne.
