Listen: The Woolly Bushmen - Sky Bosses

Couple of bushmen from Florida, who would’ve thought.

Bushmen are something you're more likely to find in our Australian Outback, not the theme-park abundant Orlando, Florida. The Woolly Bushmen are a suit-wearing three-piece garage rock band from Florida, and they’ve got a new tune called Sky Bosses. Recorded via their own Chesterwick Recording Laboratories, and recorded on reel-to-reel, the title track of their new LP will take you on a journey to the golden era of rock'n’roll (aka The 60s), but with its own modern spin.

Featuring nostalgic guitar tones that are like wow wow wow, this band manages to mash together surf and classic rock in their own way, accompanied by amazing vocal work and exceptional sideburns. Clearly influenced by the likes of The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and pretty much anything Woodstock '69, these dudes are the kinds of long-haired musos that you can’t help but love, much like the fellas you find in Perth’s own musical community.

The title track seems like a good one for a ‘cleaning up the house with bae’ montage, or if you're going for a very long drive along the coast in a Kombi Van. Listen to Sky Bosses below:
